Stewardship
Why We Pledge
Pledging is not simply about funding a budget. It is an act of worship—offering back to God a portion of what God has given us. While any gift supports our mission, a pledge is a spiritual commitment: an intentional, prayerful promise to walk alongside this community in the year ahead. Pledges of time, talent, and treasure make ministry possible and express our shared hope for the future of St. John’s. They also allow us to plan boldly and wisely—dreaming, budgeting, and building our common life with confidence.
Giving is a spiritual practice, rooted in joy, connection, and the belief that each of us has a story worth sharing—a story of being found, supported, and sent out in love. Join us as we reflect, dream, and give thanks. Let us tell out our souls, together.
How to Pledge
Pledge cards have been mailed and are also available at the back of the church. We encourage you to prayerfully consider your commitment to St. John's for 2026 and place your completed pledge card in the offering plate anytime between now and Thanks for Giving Sunday, November 23.
Please note: Making a pledge and paying a pledge are two different actions. Making a pledge is your commitment to contribute a certain amount over the coming year. Paying your pledge means fulfilling that commitment through actual contributions throughout the year.
To pay your pledge by making a one-time or recurring gift online click here. If you're updating a recurring gift, please remember to cancel the previous amount and set up a new one.
